Terms of Service

Acceptance of terms

Playz is operated by AW3 Technology, Inc. ("Playz", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Playz, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility: 18+ only

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use Playz, and you confirm this when you set up your account. You are responsible for making sure your use of Playz is lawful where you live. We may restrict access from any location at any time.

What Playz is

Playz is a social app for peer-to-peer prediction challenges between friends. You create a challenge (one-on-one) or a pool (group), set the terms, and your friends choose whether to join. Playz never takes a side in any challenge or pool, does not set odds, and is not a sportsbook, casino, or exchange. Reference prices from Polymarket and Kalshi are shown for information only.

PZ credits

  • PZ are virtual, in-app credits with no cash value. They can't be cashed out, redeemed for money or prizes, sold, or transferred outside Playz.
  • You can buy PZ credit packs. Purchases are processed by cred.diy and are final and non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.
  • PZ are a limited license to use a feature of the app, not property, a deposit, or a financial product. We may correct balances affected by errors, bugs, or violations of these Terms.

Platform fee

Playz charges a 3% platform fee on the pot of every settled challenge and pool, deducted before the winner (or winners) are paid. The fee is shown before you create or join. No fee is charged on challenges or pools that are cancelled, declined, or refunded.

Challenges (one-on-one)

  • When you create a challenge, your entry is held immediately. If your friend declines, or you cancel before they accept, it's returned to you.
  • Once accepted, both entries are held until the challenge settles. A challenge settles when both players confirm the same winner. Challenges linked to a Polymarket or Kalshi market can also settle automatically from that market's official result.
  • If the players confirm different winners, the challenge is disputed and the funds stay held. Either player can change their confirmation to resolve it.

Pools (group)

  • Everyone in a pool enters the same amount and picks a side. Entries are held until the pool settles or is cancelled. The winning side splits the pot (after the platform fee).
  • The pool creator calls the result. That starts a 24-hour dispute window during which any participant can dispute. If no one disputes, the pool settles and pays out.
  • If the creator cancels the pool, every entry is refunded.

Refunds for unresolved play

To keep funds from being stuck: any challenge or pool that is still disputed after 72 hours is cancelled and every participant's entry is refunded, and any challenge or pool that is still unsettled 7 days after its event date is refunded the same way. Refunds carry no fee.

Your conduct

Be honest about results and respectful to other players. You agree not to: confirm a result you know is false; collude, use multiple accounts, or manipulate outcomes; harass, threaten, or spam others; post illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit content; exploit bugs; or use bots or scrapers. We may remove content, reverse affected results, suspend or terminate accounts, and adjust PZ balances when these rules are broken.

Reporting and blocking

You can report a player, message, challenge, or pool from within the app, and you can block any player. Blocking removes your friendship and stops that player from messaging you, challenging you, or seeing your profile. We review reports and act on them at our discretion.

Your content

You own what you post (profile details, messages, challenge descriptions). You give Playz a license to host, display, and process it as needed to run the service. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.

Playz Copilot

Copilot is an AI assistant. Its answers may be inaccurate or out of date, and it is not financial, legal, or betting advice. Copilot can draft a challenge, but nothing is created or entered until you confirm it.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Live challenges and pools must be settled or cancelled first. Deletion is permanent, and any remaining PZ balance is forfeited and will not be refunded. We may also suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

Third-party data

Market data comes from third parties (Polymarket and Kalshi). We don't guarantee that it is accurate, complete, or timely, and we aren't responsible for their services.

Disclaimers

Playz is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Playz is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of PZ credits, data, or profits. Because PZ have no cash value, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for PZ credits in the 12 months before the claim.

Disputes with Playz

If you have a problem with Playz, email us first. Most issues can be resolved quickly. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which AW3 Technology, Inc. is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here and update the date above; material changes will also be announced in the app. Continuing to use Playz after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
